How Fenlist works

Fenlist is a directory of public Fenrid servers. Owners list their community, people browse by topic and language, and bumps keep active servers near the top.

What is a bump?
A bump moves your server to the top of the directory, its category and matching searches. Servers are sorted by their last bump, so active communities stay visible.
How often can I bump?
Once every two hours per server. Anyone can bump a server they like.
Does listing cost anything?
No. Listing and bumping are free. Promoted spots are marked as Promoted so they're never confused with regular results.
Where do member and online counts come from?
Member totals come from the Fenrid invite. Online counts people who are online, idle or in do-not-disturb. Invisible and offline stay in the offline number. Both refresh every few minutes.

Listing guidelines

Servers go live as soon as they're added. Anyone can report one, and moderators remove servers that break these rules.

  • Your server follows Fenrid's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
  • The invite link works and doesn't expire.
  • The name, description and tags describe the server honestly. No keyword stuffing.
  • Servers focused on adult content must be marked 18+ in Fenrid and aren't shown on Fenlist.
  • No servers built around raids, harassment, scams, or selling accounts and services.
  • One listing per server. Duplicates are removed.
  • No fake badges. Check marks, or words like Verified or Partner, in the name or tagline when the server doesn't have that badge.

Badges

New and Fenrid Verified Community are automatic. Fenlist moderators give and remove the rest, and every change is kept in the moderation log. Verified and Partner can't be bought. Promoted is the only paid badge, and it always says so.

  • New

The server was added in the last 90 minutes.

    How to get it

    • Given automatically when you add a server. There's nothing to apply for.

    When it's removed

    • Goes away on its own after 90 minutes. Deleting and re-adding a server to get it again counts as a duplicate.
  • Fenrid Verified Community

Fenrid itself verified this server. It's the same Verified Community badge you see on Fenrid.

    How to get it

    • Fenrid gives this badge, not Fenlist.
    • Fenlist checks Fenrid once a day and shows the badge on its own. It can take up to a day to appear.

    When it's removed

    • Fenrid removes the badge. It goes away here at the next daily check.
  • Verified Server

Fenlist checked that this is the official server of project, game and that its owner runs the listing.

    How to get it

    • The listing is managed by the server's owner or an admin, with their Fenrid account linked in Settings.
    • The server belongs to something people know by name: a creator, project, brand, game or long-running community.
    • The project links to the server somewhere public, like its website or socials, or confirms it to us directly.
    • The server has been listed for at least 7 days without breaking the guidelines.

    When it's removed

    • The server changes hands to someone outside the project.
    • It's renamed or turned into a different community.
    • It breaks the listing guidelines.
  • Partner Server

A community Fenlist works with closely. Active, well moderated and well rated.

    How to get it

    • The server is already Verified and has been listed for at least 30 days.
    • People talk in it every day, and it has clear rules that its moderators enforce.
    • It's rated 4 stars or more on average, from at least 10 ratings.
    • It links to Fenlist somewhere members can see, like an info or links channel.

    When it's removed

    • Activity or ratings stay low for a long time. We look over partners every few weeks.
    • The link to Fenlist is removed.
    • It breaks the listing guidelines.
  • Promoted

A paid spot with a highlighted card. It's an ad, not a recommendation from Fenlist.

    How to get it

    • Ask in our Fenrid server. The server has to follow the listing guidelines like any other.
    • Paying never changes ratings, comments, bumps or member counts.

    When it's removed

    • The spot ends when its time is up, or early if the server breaks the guidelines.

Asking for a badge

Post in our Fenrid server with a link to your listing and, for Verified, where the project links to the server. One request per server is enough. We reply there, and repeat requests or offers of money or favours for Verified or Partner are turned down. If you think a badge was removed by mistake, ask in the same place.
